Mission Mentors

“Mission Mentors” -- a site created for Mt. Ararat Middle and High School students in Topsham, Maine.

This page was designed to allow students to have a direct extension from their classroom into the working lives of everyday people. Here, the students will have the opportunity to read about various jobs, interact with and ask questions of professional mentors. Not only will the students learn more about what options are out there for you after high school or college but you will be able to see just how important and applicable the work you are doing now is to your future careers.

MAMS Book Club

The MAMS online book club was created by students in hopes to bring students together to talk about books they enjoy. The hope is that students will be able to give suggestions to each other about what books they truly enjoyed. This site is also open to allow teachers to allow students to read and connect with students in different classes. Allowing more freedom for students to collaborate together that would not otherwise get the chance.

MAMS Math Challenge

Welcome to the new MAMS math challenge site. Here is a place where you can find lots of different types of math challenges, from our own math team practice pages to the nationally recognized MathCounts competition practices. This site has a math forum page that new questions will be loaded to every week, the solutions will be added to the site to help find the solutions. The math challenge site also has matholypiad questions with
student videos explaining the solutions. Use this in your class or even on your own time to get better at problem solving.
