Gamestar Mechanic Official Website

Gamestar Mechanic is an award winning program designed to promote 21st century skills. Our students face a future that will rely heavily on technology in a highly networked world. Schools need to evolve and offer quality programming to help our young people develop the skills needed to become valuable assets in the future workforce.

No longer will traditional academics be enough to satisfy the astronomic increase in technology based jobs of the 21st century. Children who once wanted to be policemen and firemen now want to be computer programmers and game designers.

Gamestar Mechanic helps to teach systems thinking, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and collaboration, all in an entertaining environment. Students as young as 7 or 8 can begin designing computer games, publish, and receive feedback in a tech-savvy online social community. Gamestar is a powerful entry-level platform for kids to be introduced to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers. The primary focus of the program is the design elements as opposed to programming. It's a great way for kids to tap into their natural passions for technology and playing games.
