Maine Learning Results
Maine’s Learning Results were published in July of 1997 and distributed widely to educators and citizens around the state. Since then, the standards established in the Learning Results have stimulated discussions among educators, parents, and citizens about how their local school programs will respond to meet these new, higher standards.

Talent Identification Program—Duke University
The Duke University Talent Identification Program is a global leader in identifying academically gifted students and providing them with innovative programming to support their development.

When a child is gifted or talented, their parents and educators are faced with many issues and challenges. These articles and digests provide ideas, guidance and activities for both parents and educators of gifted students. While some of these articles are written specifically for educators, they can also benefit parents who are seeking to create or influence a program for their children. In addition, we've found that many of these articles, such as those on college planning and underachieving students, are appropriate and helpful for other students, not just those that are gifted.
